Originally erected at the Glasgow Garden Festival of 1998, it was re-erected and opened in Rhyl in 1993,. The rotating observation cabin rises to 240 ft. giving fantastic views over Rhyl, the Bay and the Snowdonian Range.
One of thr fabulous llittle steam trains based at the Marine Lake, The line was first opened in 1911 and many trains were built in Rhyl during the 1920s.

A tradition of Rhyl Beach are the Donkey Rides which have been provuded by the same local family since 1847.
The Sun Centre was opened in 1980 and its surfing pool was the first in Eurpoe. The current Pavilion Theatre, seating over 1000, was opened in 1991.It offers a range of top class shows and hosts many major productions.
Rhyl Clock Tower which used to be on the main promenade was dismantled and each stone numbered individually before being rebuilt in its new location, on a roundabout between the seaside's East and West Parades.
The central Memorial was first erected on the Rhyl Promenade 1904, two miniature cenotaphs were added. In 1928. The Memorial was moved to its present location and dedicated on Sunday 15th August 1948
Located at the mouth of the River Clwyd this was once a busy working harbour with big ships servicing the timber yard as well as Steam Packets sailing to Liverpool.
Completed in 2007 the new leisure park is ever popular with children and their parents.
Rhyl's 1st lifeboat arrived in 1852 and there have been many replacements since. The new Mersey class All-Weather lifeboat "Lil Cunningham" was put on station in 1992.
